Enrolled!

So yesterday AP360 enrolled as 25 trainee pilots, we met at 8.30 and immediately got the 'exciting' stuff out the way straight away.... health and safety brief..... however they had thrown some video of Faulty Towers and some comedians so it wasn't too bad! Then we had a chat from Mike the chief ground school instructor who said we should say goodbye to our life for the next 6 months... It became obvious we all need to work very hard, but, humor is also injected into the day emphasizing that we should also really enjoy the course too. Some of the sales stuff were very bullish towards job prospects and told us currently OAA have a pass rate of 32% getting onto the course- we were certainly excited to hear what they had to say, however, we have to take it with a pinch of salt, it won't be easy but it sounds encouraging.

Everything was very well organised at OAA as we were issued uniforms, given kit and books, had our photos done and completed paperwork- OAA even had Transair who supply all our pilot uniform waiting on standby with their van in case we needed to change some of our uniform. OAA have they own 'photo booth' for awkward grins to be applied to your ID card. The local doctor representative came and visited us too to take our details, I was impressed with the resources OAA had pulled in.

Finally we finished with some paper work, signed a few things and told what to bring on Monday; the day ended 3ish. Then it was into Kidlington for a well deserved drink as a course.

We have a fair amount of kit! Felt great to get it.
